Get In TouchHey, I'm Jayanti Mahata, a Btech student and also a self-taught artist born in West Bengal, India. What started out as a way to relax in my leisure time after studying in school quickly grew into my passion. Art has always been a part of my life since I was a kid, but it always seemed to take a backseat throughout the years. Now, I reluctantly began sharing my work on Instagram. I am grateful for the support of the kind community online.
I work with traditional mediums, with gouache paint as a current favorite. The subject matter is mostly portraiture, although I always aim to keep learning and try new things such as traditional art forms(Madhubani painting, Warli art, Gond art,.etc). Thank you for stopping by!
